Craig V. Wentz has received extensive mediator training at The Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University in California (2008, 2010).  He mediates a wide range of disputes and is known for his expertise in handling mediations involving real property, boundary, land development, land use, zoning and construction issues.  He has also handled mediations in the areas of personal injury, insurance, business disputes, and commercial litigation.  As a mediator, Mr. Wentz values communication, respect, understanding and clear agreements.  He has presented on a variety of ADR topics and has participated on the faculty of the Utah State Bar's ADR Academy.  He is a member of the Bar's Dispute Resolution Section and is also a member of the Utah Council on Conflict Resolution.

Zoning and Land Use:

    Litigation of zoning, subdivision, development, permit, takings;

    Represented governmental entities in fair housing litigation; 

General Litigation:

    Litigation of securities fraud cases in state and federal court;

    Litigation of construction defects, contracts, personal injury claims and constitutional issues;   

Real Estate:

    Obtained land use approvals for regional shopping centers and multiphase residential developments;

    Represented real estate appraisers in professional negligence actions;

    Handled major land development projects.
